The vineyard has 12 000 vines. The white varietals are Vandal-Cliche, Eona and Vidal. The red varietals are Ste-Croix, Sabrevois and Baco Noir. Each year several hundred new vines are planted.

Vandal-Cliche :
Hybrid produced by M. Vandal and M. Cliche at the Laval University in Québec after 30 years of research. White grape rustic and early-ripping. Very productive plant and reaches a nice maturity in the Quebec reason. The Ste-Pétronille vineyard was the first to grow the Vandal on a commercial basis. Today, a lot of vineyard in Quebec cultivate this grape.

Vidal:
Hybrid white grape coming from a cross of ugni blanc and siebel. This variety has a high level of sugar in cold climate, while maintaining a high level of acidity. Was created by Jean-Louis Vidal around 1930.
We use it for our ice wine and also in assembling whit one of our white (Voile de la mariée).
Ste-Croix :
Vine that gives a good quality wine, fruity and slightly acidic. We use it in assembling for our red wine. (Photo: Ste-Croix after the harvest).
